Senior IT Business Analyst

Mission

The Senior IT Business Analyst is a leading functional analyst for Finance & Risk, ensuring requirements, priorities, business definitions and optimization are optimized and validated with Business process owner. Primary goal is to support to implementation of a new CTRM.

 

Be primary contact liaison between business stakeholders (mostly BPO) to gather and document business requirements with the project team, identify opportunities to reduce inefficiencies, and align data governance and process optimization efforts with organizational objectives.

Analyze business processes and workflows and create detailed documentation, including Standard Operating Process, Gaps requirements, Data flows and Business glossary, and requirements for Data Products.

Support the business analyst Lead in managing daily activities in the project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery alongside Program and Project managers.

Develop test scenarios, document test executions and conduct testing to ensure solutions meet requirements for functional areas of Finance and Risk.

Support Test Automation deployment and other workstreams of the CTRM implementation, including Data migration.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including challenging existing processes and co-building pragmatic solutions.

Provide training and support to remove team members as well as end-users on past & new systems and processes.

Support in implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks to manage data assets effectively and meet regulatory standards.

Oversee data quality management processes, including data integrity, data lineage, and data stewardship, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and security of organizational data.

When required, assist investigation of incidents related to complex business cases

PROFIL

Minimum 10 years of experience as Operations, Middle office or Business Analyst, in an Agri-Commodity Trading industry, coffee or cocoa ideally

Proven successful experience as BA on a CTRM implementation in a soft-commodity company.

Bachelor’s degree in business information system or information technology or business administration or Finance or Commodity Risk.

CBAP and/or PMP certification is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask, manage stress, multiple time-zone stakeholders and handle conflict resolution.

Commodity trade acumen with ability to challenge trade lifecycle and processes

Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets

Excellent organization and coordination skills, including daily management of project tools (Jira, Confluence, Teams, SharePoint).

Proficient in business analyst tools or software (Microsoft Visio, Signavio…)

Leadership skill

Organization and coordination of remote team members

Good communication skills and willingness to work with people of varied cultures.

Perfect spoken English, and the language of the area of operation is a plus (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese).
